What The Hell Took So Long?

Kurt Warner is staying. Even after the foolish posturing by the front office. You'd think a trip to the Super Bowl would give the suits a taste for winning. Apparently the execs haven't bought in to the culture change as quickly as the boys in the locker room.

And part of Warner's new deal involves setting cash aside to sign Boldin to an extension. What a guy.

Holy effin' crap! The Arizona Cardinals are going to Tampa Bay to fight the Pittsburgh Steelers for the NFL crown! It's all so surreal. After being a perennial 4-12 team, I can't find the words to describe how this feels. It used to be that the preseason was the best part of the Cards season. It's gonna be a long two weeks... Bring on the Steelers!

Five Weeks Too Late

You may not know this, but I'm a huge Arizona Cardinals fan (go ahead and laugh, but chances are your team is worse this season). And I was absolutely delighted today to hear that the spectacularly terrible Dirk Johnson was shown the door. This idiot single-handedly cost the Cardinals their week 8 game at Carolina and then screwed us again at home versus the Giants. Today was a good day.
