How to kill Batman

Yeah, he's the smartest dude on the planet and one of the best hand-to-hand combatants and tacticians, but he's still just a dude. He can die. And I want to know how to do it. A fast-acting poison or virus? Lots and lots of hand grenades? Sniper rifle? It seems to me it would need to be quick and something so highly unlikely that it may even be overlooked by a brain obsessed with contingencies.

Greatest Covers - Week 14

There's so much to love about this Murphy Anderson cover for From Beyond the Unknown #2. But my favorite part is, by far, the hand print on the ship. The way Murphy wraps that print around the angles and dimensions of the ship is beautiful. The knocked over lamp post is solid, having been leveled in stride. Amazing.

DINO-RIDERS return!

I want to launch a new Dino-Riders series. I need a co-writer, colorist, letterer and a publisher willing to pony up for the license. Who's in?

Pinup for Shannon Denton

This is a piece I did about 6 months ago for an upcoming Shannon Denton book. I'm not sure how much I can say, so I won't. So there. Lines by me, colors by Matt Bennett.

Ryan Cody's ICARUS #1 cover

My good friend, Ryan Cody, asked me to ink over his pencils for the cover to his upcoming Icarus #1. So I did. Then Rico Renzi threw some colors on it and poof! Badassery.

Check out the webcomic here and look for the floppy soon.

Greatest Covers - Week 13

This is a weekly post chronicling the greatest covers in the annals of comic history. In a medium that demands creativity and imagination, these are the cream of the crop, displaying a level of originality, daring and draftsmanship that truly set them apart. Send me images or links to anything that you think would make the cut. And here we go...

Justice League of America #14 by Murphy Anderson. Do I really need to tell you why this is awesome? A villain is going to blow up the JLA with a bowling ball. With the Atom inside. Yeah, that's cool.

Greatest Covers - Week 12

This is a weekly post chronicling the greatest covers in the annals of comic history. In a medium that demands creativity and imagination, these are the cream of the crop, displaying a level of originality, daring and draftsmanship that truly set them apart. Send me images or links to anything that you think would make the cut. And here we go...

Yes, it's the return of the weekly post 23 months after the last one. Shut up. This week it's a doozy from Carmine Infantino in the form of Flash #133. Honestly, any Flash cover from around the same time would make the cut, but "Plight of the Puppet-Flash"? I'll buy that.

BIG GAME pencils

Holy Hell, it's been a long time. But I think I'm back for good. Maybe. We'll see.

I wanted to post something, so you get some crappy pencils for Shannon Denton's Big Game TPB. There will be equally crappy inks to follow. Sorry, Shannon.
