Pencil to ink comparison of a Batman commission. Those pencils are so much moodier. I wish my inks could translate that tone.

New content is forthcoming, both on the comic stands and online. Got a secret project chugging along and plan on having some real MONSTROS content out for next year's Phoenix Comicon. Had a bunch of stuff with Monstros' mug on it at this year's show, but no content and got real tired real quick of telling folks there's no comic yet. So there will be.
If you're interested in hearing me talk MONSTROS stuff, read a little interview by Cherelynn conducted at PHXCC this past weekend - http://makeupuniversity.blogspot.com/2013/05/monstros-artist-scott-godlewski-at-2013.html. Not where you expected to find dinosaur-man talk, right?
I'll try to be back on a sorta regular basis. But my last post was two years ago, so I might be full of crap. I'll try.

I want a collection of these Superman's Girlfriend Lois Lane stories. Or at least the covers. A good percentage depicts Superman/Lois becoming jealous over the other's company or some variation on a wedding. Issue #2 by Al Plastino just presents Superman as a super weirdo. And has Lois doing her best Jenna Maroney impression.

Pardon me while I catch up on the Greatest Covers posts. Here is The Incredible Hulk #5 by Jack Kirby. The Hulk busting through is just beautiful. No one does monsters like Jack. And the terrible perspective on the background is charming.
